For many people the chance to go out on the water and try a boat starts with a trip on a friend's boat, most first time powerboaters come back hooked and want more! A RYA powerboat training course allows you the best of both worlds - your chance to drive someone else's boat and the opportunity to gain the experience and knowledge to be safe afloat. More importantly you will come away understanding how boats work, the equipment you will need and the type, style and design features that you would want on your boat should you decide to puchase one.
If you are lucky enough to already own a boat the knowledge you gain will enable you to use your boat safely, to handle it more confidently and to really enjoy the sport.
