RYA Approved Dinghy Instructor Course, Salcombe, Devon:

For the experienced Dinghy Sailor, our instructor course is designed to teach you the RYA method, the structure of the RYA and how to teach sailing. The course is run by an RYA Coach Assessor and is moderated on the last day by a second Coach Assessor

Not only will you be shown how to teach dinghy sailing, you will have the opportunity to pass a recognised First Aid Certificate and your Pre-Entry Assessment. This course is everything you need to become a dinghy instructor.

Students who study Go Sailing Plus are often offered ongoing employment with the Salcombe Island Cruising Club, Devon.

Successful completion of the 5 day Dinghy Instructor course will give you the necessary qualification to work as an instructor within the National Sailing Scheme and Racing Coaching Schemes.

‘Egremont’ our ex Mersey ferry base serves as a unique venue for your instructor training and provides the perfect opportunity to watch our RYA instructors teaching pupils of all ages.
