Staying On-board

Adults, children, families and groups are welcome on board Egremont throughout the year. There is no need to be doing a course in order to stay with us – we do B & B! Children over the age of 10 years can stay unaccompanied.

B & B rates per person are: B & B £25 Dinner B & B £30 Full board £35.  Beat that in Salcombe!

We do our best to cater for guests with special dietary needs.  Please advise us at the time of booking.

Food on board

The food we serve is simple but healthy and nourishing and wherever possible it is locally sourced.  Our vegetables are grown in East Portlemouth!  We operate a seasonal menu and create our own homemade dishes – examples include chicken and leek pie, homemade burgers, lamb stew and chicken, garlic and lemon linguine.  Fresh vegetables and salads are served with most meals.

Evenings on board

Evenings are a time of relaxation for adults.  There is a bar on board and launches run to and from Salcombe until 23.45.

We provide evening activities for children staying on board with us.  Our programme includes wet and dry fun both on and off the ship and is varied to suit the ages of the children on board.

Children over the age of 14 are allowed to visit Salcombe during the evenings without ICC supervision and with a 21.30 curfew.  A parental letter of consent is ESSENTIAL for this. 

Residential Arrivals

For residents arriving the evening before your course, we ask for you to catch the 17:45 launch from Whitestrand or the 18:00 from Batson Creek.

Non-Residential Arrivals

For those taking part in courses on a daily basis our courtesy launch departs from Whitestrand at 08.45am and returns at 17.45.
