Following confirmation of availability, a provisional place will be held for 7 days.
The booking will be confirmed on receipt of a non refundable deposit of 25% of the total holiday cost.You will then receive written confirmation of the booking within a further seven days. The balance must be paid not less then 2 calendar months before the start date of your booking. If the balance is not received, the ICC reserves the right to consider the booking cancelled, and all moneys will be retained. Bookings made within 2 calendar months of the holiday start date must be paid in full.
A cancellation by the member may be notified by telephone but must be confirmed in writing as soon as possible. The date of first information will be considered to be the date of cancellation. For cancellation more than 2 months before the start date the deposit will be retained and any balance paid returned. For cancellation within 2 months, all payments will be retained and any outstanding balances will still be due. Membership subscription payments and International Passenger Protection premiums are not refundable under any circumstances.
While every effort will be made to operate as described in the brochure, the ICC reserves the right to cancel or alter a course should circumstances dictate. In this unlikely event a transfer to an acceptable alternative date or a full refund will be made.
In the event of deficient or adverse weather preventing an activity taking place an alternative activity will be arranged, but no refunds given.
We cannot guarantee successful completion of a course, be it because of adverse weather or inadequate time for the member to achieve a sufficiently high standard.
No changes will be made to the nett of VAT price of a firm booking following receipt of the deposit. However, the Club reserve the right to alter brochure prices.
All charges are inclusive of VAT where appropriate. The standard rate is as at 1 November 2006. Should the rate of VAT change the Club reserve the right to vary any charges appropriately.
As a member’s Club all people using the ICC’s facilities must be Full Members and as such must have paid the appropriate subscriptions in full. Only fully paid up members are covered by our insurances. For first time visitors, and those whose membership lapsed before 1 November 2005, part of the money you pay for your first sail goes toward the cost of your subscription.
New members must return a completed and signed membership application form before their first visit.
Copies of the Club’s memorandum and articles of association are available from the ICC office at a cost of £5 each.
The Club is a company limited by guarantee. As a member, your maximum liability in the case of the Club failing is £5.
This contract shall be governed by English law.
From time to time, we may be taking photographs of the activities at the Club. These photographs are for Club purposes. If you are concerned that recognisable pictures of you or your family should not be used for publicity purposes, please inform the office before your arrival.
In accordance with “The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992” all resident passengers booking with the ICC are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of the ICC. There is no requirement for Financial Protection of day trips, and none is provided. A certificate detailing this cover will be given to each passenger as evidence of cover.
Please ensure that you have been given the appropriate certificate(s) at the time of booking. This Insurance has been arranged by International passenger Protection Limited and underwritten by Insurers who are members of the Association of British Insurers.
