RYA Powerboat Courses (16 yrs+)

It goes without saying that we have expert Powerboat instructors. We offer RYA Powerboat Level 1 & 2 and occasional Safety Boat courses, usually at weekends.

A great way to get on the water, get your boat handling skills up to standard using a variety of different powerboats, both planing and displacement - something to suit everyone. Perhaps you need to learn to drive your tender to your distant yacht mooring? Or maybe you’re working towards safety boating for your local club? The RYA scheme ensures you cover the basics in a short 2 day course, leaving you to progress to practiced powerboat driver in your own time. Our first-rate instruction gives you all the guidance, encouragement and reassurance you’ll need.

RYA Powerboat Levels 1 & 2 Course

An introduction to boating techniques, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment, providing the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver. This course is a pre-requisite for the RYA Dinghy Instructors Course, RYA Safety Boat and also forms the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. We also offer RYA safety boat courses.
