The Boat and Crew
You will be sailing our brand new Delphia 37 – unique to Salcombe and the first yacht of her kind registered in Great Britain. She is well equipped, comfortable and suitable for all the courses we offer and any type of non-structured cruising.
There will be a maximum of 5 in the crew plus your Skipper/Instructor. If you have a party of less than 5, you may still book the whole yacht for your exclusive use – just telephone us for details
Where You´ll go
Starting from Egremont in the beautiful Salcombe Estuary, you’ll sail along the stunning Westcountry Coast to Fowey or Falmouth, Dartmouth, Newton Ferrers or round the Eddystone Light to Plymouth. For those not completing an RYA Course, you may visit Guernsey and explore some of the charming smaller Channel Islands, or even go across to France, so don’t forget your passport! Cruises may also be extended to 7 or 9 days if you wish to go further afield.
What´s included
All your tuition, the boat, food onboard and bedding, everything is included except waterproofs and sailing boots.
All courses are run by our fully qualified and experienced RYA Yachtmaster Instructors.
If you would like to hire waterproofs for your cruise, we have a small stock available at £5.00 per set, per day. A set includes a jacket and trousers, suitable to withstand cruising conditions and are available in sizes small, medium & large. Please book waterproof hire in advance of your cruise or cruising course by telephoning the office.
Alternatively, if you would like to buy waterproofs, a set of Gill Cruise waterproofs can be purchased through the ICC at a cost of around £140.00 plus p&p - please order 14 days in advance of your cruise to allow time for delivery.
