Arrival/Departure

Non-Residents

All non-residents need to catch the 0845 launch from Whitestrand pontoon each morning. Whitestrand Pontoon is opposite the Harbour Master’s Office in the centre of Salcombe (see map). For your own convenience and that of other users please wait in the Car Park until the launch has moored. You may be on an uncovered launch so please have your waterproofs to hand. Departure from Egremont at the end of the day will be at 1715 reaching Whitestrand Pontoon at 1730.

Residents

You may arrive at any time from 17.30 (see Launch Timetable for times of other launches). Dinner is at 18.00, we therefore suggest Residents arrive on the 17.30 launch from Whitestrand Pontoon or (on arrival days only) 17.45 from Batson Slipway adjacent to the Creek Car Park. There is an additional launch from Batson Slipway at 20.45 on arrival days. If you are planning to arrive late it would be helpful if you could let us know.

Departure from Egremont at the end of your course will usually be at 17.15 reaching Whitestrand Pontoon at 17.30.

Please ask our coxswain if you would like to be returned to Batson Slipway on departure.

Cadet Weeks

For Saturday am departures during cadet weeks you will leave Egremont at 09.15 and reach Whitestrand at 09.30, again, please request our coxswain to drop you at Batson Slipway if required.

On your day of departure please help our housekeepers by packing and leaving your bags in the area designated by our staff.
