About us
ICC Salcombe (Island Cruising Club) is a sailing and sail training centre based in South Devon, UK. From our headquarters ship
Egremont, we offer sailing holidays, short & weekend breaks with tuition, or
RYA courses for beginner to Yachtmaster, for children and adults.
The ICC is based in the Salcombe and Kingsbridge estuary, one of the most beautiful in South West England and offers sailing both in a protected tidal harbour and at sea. Our
fleet is one of the largest in the UK, from exciting single handed dinghies suitable for both children and adults to high performance keel boats and sea going yachts.
Our sailing season usually runs from early April to late October with shorebased courses available occasionaly in the winter.
Accommodation is available onboard Egremont, or non-residents can sail on a daily basis, catching our
launch service out to the ship each day from Salcombe.
In addition to courses, we also offer
Boat Hire for competent sailors and
Private Tuition from our RYA Instructors, which can be booked last minute for a half or full day.
